I have perfected my copycat chipotle chicken recipe.

I have to say I’ve outdone myself with this one.

the taste, the texture, the look, and even the feeling I get when I eat at Chipotle…spot on.

I nailed it.

This didn’t come without years of trial and error, however.

Let me tell you about the biggest secret I learned.

The ingredients aren’t the secret, any old internet search will tell you what you need.

It was about understanding 2 key things.

  1. How much of each thing I needed

  2. How to cook it

You might be thinking…well duh that’s obvious, let me explain.

I had all the right ingredients, but without proper amounts and knowledge on how to use them, I was about as useful as an icemaker in Antarctica.

When I learned how to use the tools I had, everything changed.

One of my mentors has a phrase that I will paraphrase;

"Don’t give your clients a recipe, teach them how to cook.”

A recipe is useless if you don’t know how to use the stove.

The same thought process works with learning skills in our office.

To run with the analogy, imagine your goal is to make Chipotle chicken.

Most other clinics will just give you some chicken, seasoning, and sauce and say “Good luck”.

The difference is we show our clients how to prep the chicken well, cook it safely, make the sauce from scratch, and plate it beautifully.
